NOT AGAIN!!!

Yes AGAIN!! Another ICE STORM! This is the 3rd one since 2000! Can you believe it. This time around (3rd times a charm right..) we are READY.. Flash lights - check, candles - check, extra food - check, extra toilet paper - check check! We havent lost our power yet although there are people in town that have. The last one back in 2006 we lost our electricity for 10 days! Thank the LORD we had a gas hook up for a heater! We have it all ready to go just in case. The kiddos are out of school - work has shut down - and now all I want to do is EAT! hahahaha... I will keep everyone up to date on the condition here and take some great pictures.

Joshua is a very kind hearted boy, he has a laugh that lights up the room - You always know where Joshua is because you can hear him - talking loudly, laughing loudly. He is very funny and likes to pull jokes on people. He is into electronics like his dad and you will never see him without his laptop. We dont get to see him as much as we want. But when we do we try and make the best of it.

All of these pictures represent who my son is. He has such a contagious smile, a kind heart, and a teenagers smart mouth hahahaha. I dont know WHERE he comes up with the smart mouth! He is so athletic and never gives up on anything until he has mastered it. A quality I wish I had.

My ex-wife and basketball.

I always tease that my husbands exwife is MY exwife. We seem to have certain "wierd-o" relationship that people do not understand. She is the kind of person that I just feel very safe and warm around. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know. My husband and I went up there (by "there" I mean Arkansas) and watched my step son play basketball and watched a church thing he had. They are morman - so most of what goes on for him I dont understand. The one thing I do appericate about it is the structure and moral compass they seem to instill in the young children. Well, anyways, we went there this weekend and had the best time. We ate at a brizilian restraunt which I had NEVER done before and it was so awesome -- they had GRILLED PINEAPPLE on this stick they brought around o your table -- cut off some pineapple and EAT! I will HAVE to learn how to do that! Actually, EVERY meat was brought around on these large skewers and cut off right there onto your plate. I tried lamb - never had that before and it was actually VERY good. There were a few meats that I didnt like but I tried it all! Even the weird looking sasuage balls... or meatballs...or something like that. I would love to go back and eat there again. I just hope the "meatballs" were really MEATBALLS.

Every woman has done it, cut bangs! I have the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. BAD BANGS for sure. JonCollin wanted a new hair cut so he now has a faux hawk. It is the cutest hair cut he has ever had. He looks so rock n roll and grown up!

JonCollin had a friend spend the night this past weekend and the two of them were outside playing.. when they both came inside the house upset... they were both hit with a limb - I think they were sword fighting with the limbs - the friend says to me through the tears -- I think my head is dented in... it doesnt feel right. Of course, in the most mature way I could muster up .. I say.. your head is dented --- and burst into laughter ... probably not the best reaction ....
